WEBER processing systems

The TTSC can be equipped with up to three independently configurable processing stations, allowing different machining operations to be combined in a single machine. The three D_P2_R2 processing systems provide a wide range of options for deburring, edge rounding, and surface finishing, making the TTSC a versatile solution for job shops.

Its modular design allows the machine to be configured to individual requirements, while doors on both sides provide easy access to the processing units and simplify maintenance.

The TTSC plus also includes the WEBER “Avantage Package” as standard, featuring a vacuum table, automatic tool length measurement, and oscillation-free sanding belt control. The oscillation control can be deactivated when required to help prevent visible oscillation marks on the finished surface.

Rubber-coated contact rollers are used for efficient deburring and surface finishing. The grinding pressure is generated by lowering the roller below the preset workpiece thickness, ensuring controlled and uniform material removal.

The contact roller is particularly effective for rough grinding and removing heavy, melted laser spatter. Its precise adjustment allows the grinding pressure to be adapted to different workpieces and processing requirements. Electric adjustment enables quick and accurate positioning, including adjustments during operation.

The unit can also be equipped with Scotch-Brite belts for additional surface finishing. Contact rollers are available in different diameters and rubber hardnesses, allowing them to be configured to suit a wide range of applications.

The patented WEBER P2 planetary head provides an efficient solution for uniform edge rounding of inner and outer contours. Its single-row design features a large overlap between individual tools, eliminating the need for additional oscillating movement and ensuring consistent processing without gaps.

The sealed planetary heads offer high durability and low-maintenance operation. The brushes continuously work at the optimal angle to the workpiece, delivering efficient and uniform edge rounding across the entire working width.

The WEBER multi-rotation brush is designed for uniform edge rounding of inner and outer edges. Multiple rotating brush heads are arranged side by side, with two intermeshing brushes per head ensuring consistent processing across the entire working width.

Its compact design allows the unit to be easily combined with other WEBER sanding technologies. The multi-rotation brush is particularly suitable for coated materials such as foil-coated or galvanized sheets, where reliable edge rounding is required without damaging or removing the protective coating.
