Deburring machine for core plates

Efficient generator manufacturing requires precisely processed core laminations with consistently clean edges. Deburring coated laminations is particularly challenging, as the edges must be processed without damaging the protective surface coating.

The WEBER solution uses a specially developed dressing unit to prepare the sanding belt for this application. This enables reliable edge deburring while preserving the coating on the lamination surface, ensuring high-quality components and efficient downstream processing.

WEBER machining systems

Rubber-coated contact rollers provide controlled and uniform material removal for deburring and surface finishing. The grinding pressure is generated by lowering the roller below the preset workpiece thickness, allowing the process to be precisely adapted to different workpieces.

The contact roller is particularly effective for rough grinding and removing heavy, melted laser spatter. Electric adjustment enables fast and precise positioning, including adjustments during operation.

The unit can also be equipped with Scotch-Brite belts for additional surface finishing. Contact rollers are available in different diameters and rubber hardnesses, allowing them to be configured for a wide range of applications.
