WEBER processing stations can be installed in any order

The WEBER contact roller unit is designed for precise calibration, pre-sanding, and fine sanding of solid wood and a wide range of wood-based materials.

Its robust construction makes it suitable for continuous and multi-shift operation. The spiral-grooved contact roller provides consistent sanding results, high durability, and reliable performance while requiring minimal maintenance.

With its versatile application range, the WEBER contact roller unit is an efficient solution for demanding sanding processes in woodworking machines and production lines.

General technical data:
+ Grooved steel or rubber contact roller
+ Drive up to 160 kW depending on the series
+ Diameter up to 450 mm depending on the series
+ Electric roller adjustment and positioning
+ Programme-controlled grit compensation

General features:
+ Suitable for use with various belts
+ Effective for pre-sanding
+ Calibration possible within a 0.01 mm range

The WEBER cushion unit is designed for gentle and precise finishing of sensitive wood surfaces. Its highly adaptable sanding station delivers consistent results even on demanding workpieces such as veneer, profiled surfaces, and coated materials.

General technical data:
+ grooved steel or rubber contact roller
+ drive up to 110 kW depending on the series
+ diameter up to 210 mm depending on the series
+ electric roller adjustment and positioning

The WEBER combination unit combines the material removal performance of a contact roller with the flexibility of a sanding beam in a single sanding station. This enables precise calibration followed by fine finishing, making it ideal for applications requiring both high dimensional accuracy and excellent surface quality.

General technical data:
+ Grooved steel or rubber contact roller, ø130 mm
+ Drive power up to 19 kW depending on the series
+ Adjustment accuracy: 0.02 mm
+ Direction of rotation: synchronous/counter-rotating

General features:
+ Calibration and finishing in sequence
+ For sensitive surfaces
+ Variable grinding patterns
+ ISA pressure bar system

The WEBER CBF combination unit combines precise material removal with high-quality surface finishing in a single sanding unit. A grooved contact roller provides controlled material removal and accurate calibration, while the CBF (Cross Belt Finishing) system creates an even, streak-free surface without visible oscillation marks.

This combination delivers both high dimensional accuracy and excellent surface quality, making it ideal for demanding sanding applications.

General technical data:
+ Grooved steel or rubber contact roller
+ ø130mm
+ Drive up to 30kW
+ Cutting speed of approx. 2–25 m/sec

General features:
+ Electric motor-driven roller adjustment and positioning
+ Precise adaptation to the workpiece
+ Internal ISA link pressure beam
+ Oscillation-mark-free cross-finishing

The WEBER cross-belt unit is designed for high-quality wood surface finishing. By sanding across the direction of the wood grain, it creates a uniform, consistent surface while effectively reducing visible sanding marks.

The resulting surface provides an excellent foundation for subsequent finishing processes such as staining, lacquering, or coating.

General technical data:
+ Drive: 15 kW
+ Pressure lamella belt with felt and graphite
+ ISD segmented pressure beam

General features:
+ High-quality sanding finish
+ Surface sanding for uniform lacquering
+ Stepless speed adjustment

The patented WEBER P2 planetary head is designed for consistent surface processing and precise edge rounding. Its multi-directional tool movement enables uniform results across a wide range of workpiece geometries.

The P2 is particularly well suited for demanding woodworking applications where consistent edge quality, precise surface finishing, and reliable processing are essential.

The WEBER “B” brushing unit is a versatile sanding module for texturing, fine finishing, dust removal, and stripping of wood and wood-based materials.

With a wide selection of brush types and flexible configuration options, the unit can be adapted to a variety of applications. From decorative surface structuring to functional finishing and cleaning, the WEBER “B” brushing unit provides reliable and consistent results.

General technical data:
+ Drive up to 24 kW
+ Cutting speed 2–10 m/s
+ Display accuracy 1/10 mm

General features:
+ Adjustable oscillation
+ Motorised roller lift

A surface free from visible oscillation marks is a key indicator of high-quality sanding. WEBER CBF (Cross Belt Finishing) technology achieves this with a transverse pressure lamella belt integrated into the wide-belt sanding station.

The pressure lamellae continuously interrupt the contact between the abrasive and the workpiece, preventing the oscillation marks typically associated with conventional sanding belts. The lamella belt runs without a control system, compensates for workpiece tolerances, wears evenly across its width, and can be replaced quickly and economically.

Technical data:
+ Separately driven CBF belt
+ Electric roller adjustment

Features:
+ Suitable for very soft wood species
+ Variable sanding patterns
+ Gentle material processing
+ ISA pressure beam system
