The internal lamella belt is provided with narrow, ribbed strips, arranged diagonally. Constantly changing sanding belt areas come into contact with the workpiece and the wavy marks resulting from individual sand grains are thus interrupted. This is especially important for larger surfaces such as those of conference tables, wall panelling or flooring.
