History

This family owned machine factory is based in Kronach in Upper Franconia. Shortly after the turn of the century Hans Weber started designing and manufacturing drum sanding machines for the local slate and wood-working industry.

The company philosophy of sound design, reliability and technical innovation, resulted in the manufacture of the first wide-belt grinding machine for sheet grinding in 1955.

WEBER has consistently reacted to market requirements and has translated their years of experience into practical solutions. Today WEBER continues to offer users innovative solutions for processing flame and plasma cuts, and sets the standard in the field of wet grinding machines. Our planetary head system for processing rough edges on laser and plasma cuts is yet another solution driven by market demands.

Weber employs more than 300 administrative, engineering and production staff at two locations in Kronach.

All mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering is performed by WEBER engineers. The production department uses the latest manufacturing technology.

WEBER - your guarantee of quality and innovation.
